1, Alternate, male, present 07 May 1964 - 10 May 1964; found by: Robert Curry; David L. Bissell; documentation provided by: Robert Curry. Published comments: Although there are other sight reports and possibly a specimen, at this time, these two birds are the only ones for which documentation has been submitted for review by the OBRC. Plumage and song description were convincingly reported. It is unfortunate that the reports of these birds at Post Field were not followed up over the summer, as it is possible that they may have remained on territory and perhaps even nested. 1st (OBRC accepted) Ontario record for this species. 1st OBRC accepted record for southern Ontario for this species. Record accepted by OBRC (record number 97?). Record published in 2000 OBRC annual report.
