Fly by; at first thought it was a Merganser, but its feet were sticking out behind it unlike a Merganser's would. I was roughly the same size as a Merganser, but its neck was also longer. I only got brief views through my binoculars, but Jym Mooney had a scope on it and confirmed that it had a white face and white neck, along with completely white underparts and undertail. I believe him that it was a Red-throated Loon, but since I didn't see the fieldmarks myself, I'll leave it as a loon species for my list.
