numbers kept building all day

1

Darker gray mantle, all black wing tips, no white between tips and gray upperwing, bright white trailing edge, lots of black on underside of wing tips, pure white tail, dark bill, smudge on back of head, dark legs, Seen at 9:30am feeding with flock of about 100 Bonaparte's and a couple Ring-billed, barely smaller than the Ring-billed. Well out from shore in the Tawas bay but good, prolonged view with scope in favorable light. When the feeding frenzy dispersed it headed away towards the opposite shore. I watched for it for the rest of the day without finding it again.
