Rare. Seen about 1/2 mile offshore flying south. Small to medium size,, smaller than CAGU slightly larger than MEGU or same size. Darker gray mantle than gwgu. Black prinary tips with obvious white subterminal area. Rounded wingtips compared to megu and cagu. Very blackish hood enveloping eye, rear crown, nape. Apppeared to be adult based on no visible black on tail or dorsal arm wing or dorsal primary coverts. Observed by caleb putnam and sean fitzgerald for about 2 full minutes with kowa prominar 883/884 scopes
