- Location was the viewing deck west/northwest of the lighthouse, overlooking the rocks and ocean. The Blue-footed Booby had departed just before we arrived at 1:25. I spotted it returning at about 2:10. It attempted to land several times, affording views that included the blue feet, before landing out of sight. My daughter Sarah and birder Julie Fukuda were also present.
