Description: First seen at distance of about 150 yards in flight w/ Dunlin, at this distance resembled a very small, bright Golden Plover. The birds settled onto ground and began feeding, was eventually seen w/in about 100 feet. Even from distance the bird stood out , in particular bright brownish-buff tones and large (wide) pale eye-brow/ supercillium. Pale breast-band offset by darker chest quite noticible/obvious. Noticibly short and plump looking w/ small bill. Legs yellow to yellowish, not real bright. Extensive notes taken, observed for 35 to 45 minutes.
