POWERED BY MERLIN
Small flycatcher, bright yellow overall with two yellow wingbars, a dark line through the eye, and a short yellow eyebrow. Rather long tail. Sexes alike. Brighter yellow than most other tyrannulets. Found in shrubby second growth with some trees, sometimes associated with stands of tall bamboo. Usually in pairs. Widespread through much of South America. Listen for its spritely chattery song.
