POWERED BY MERLIN

Chunky-looking bird with a small head and a larger bill than other jacamars, recalling a kingfisher. Chestnut-colored overall with a pinkish-red bill. The song is a high, whistled “péeeuh- péeeuh- péeeuh- péeeuh.”
