Small green lorikeet with yellow streaking. Note bright red cap, blue facial markings and pale purple-pink coloration on the breast. Female duller than male, with less color on the head and breast. Occurs in eucalypt forests of northern Australia, typically subject to blossom availability.

Escapee: Exotic species known or suspected to be escaped or released, including those that have bred but don't yet fulfill the criteria for Provisional. Escapee exotics do not count in official eBird totals.
