Attractive dusty-blue jay with paler belly. Restricted to pine-oak woodlands in mountains and canyons from Arizona to central Mexico. Most similar to Western Scrub-Jay, but look for blue back and plain blue face. Found in small family groups. Feeds primarily on acorns.
