Identification
Like all woodcreepers, hitches up tree trunks. Fairly small, warm brown bird with buffy spots on breast and vague buffy eyebrow. Straight bill. Very similar to many other species of woodcreepers but smaller than most others in range. Focus on breast pattern: buffy spots, not streaks. Most similar to Spotted Woodcreeper but smaller and thinner-billed. Found in forest, usually following a mixed-species flock.
