A small green-and-yellow songbird, green above with a yellow rump and a uniform yellow underside. No noticeable eye-ring. A canopy species that occurs in pairs and small flocks in forest, scattered trees, and scrub. Confined to Kai Kecil Island. Differs from Lemon-bellied White-eye in the absence of a bold white eye-ring. Gives dry, stuttering chattering notes as well as a short, sharp “chiDilup.”
