Medium-sized shorebird with bright yellow legs. Plumage is essentially identical to Greater Yellowlegs; gray upperparts with white speckling, and white belly. Proportions are more important: bill only slightly longer than the head and straight; smaller overall than Greater Yellowlegs with shorter neck, rounded head, and cuter appearance.
