The Jungle Myna sports a tuft of feathers on its forehead, a orange-yellow bill, and a yellow eye. In flight, note the large white patch at the base of outer flight feathers and the white-tipped tail. It is commonly seen with other mynas. Similar to the Common Myna, but lacks the bare yellow patches around the eyes. Inhabits open forest, cultivated fields, and areas around water bodies; often seen along with grazing cattle.
