Small parakeet, fairly common within very limited range in southwest Ecuador and barely into extreme northwest Peru. Overall lime-green with pale gray head and sky-blue crown. Unlikely to be confused in range; larger than Pacific Parrotlet and smaller and shorter-tailed than Red-masked Parakeet. Found in small flocks, typically in deciduous forest or dry open scrub.
