Identification

POWERED BY MERLIN

Bicolored patterning of this bulbul is simple but unique: ashy gray with golden-olive wings. Inhabits lowland and hill forests (more common in the latter), usually in mature or near-mature growth. Regularly moves through upper strata of forests, moving with mixed flocks. Gives bright, somewhat slurred-sounding notes, as well as minivet-like trills.
