Medium-sized goose that breeds in Arctic tundra and winters in large flocks in agricultural areas and wetlands. Smaller than Canada Goose with bright orange legs and bill, white face and forehead, and black markings on belly. Immatures lack white face and black on belly and have duller orange legs and bill. Similar to domestic barnyard geese and Graylag Geese, but smaller without the enormous pot-bellied appearance of domestic birds.
