Small grayish bird with black face, bold white eyebrow, and rufous cap. A clear view of the head should eliminate any confusion with other understory warblers. Sexes alike. Found in pairs or small groups, usually following a mixed-species flock. Stays low. Usually in the forest or at the edge.
