Conspicuous, large black-and-white relative of crows and jays. Often spotted along roadsides in open country, towns, and fields. Exceptionally lengthy tail is longer than the body. In flight, look for white wingtips. Social and inquisitive. Often gathers in groups to feed on carrion.
