A medium-sized brown bird with a long, spiky tail. Endemic to the island of Anjouan in the Comoros. Found in a wide variety of habitats with a thick understory, including rainforest, wet scrub, marshes, plantations, and gardens. An inconspicuous bird, except by voice, that skulks in thick vegetation. Incessantly given call is a Geiger counter-like ticking. There are no similar warblers on Anjouan, so identification is simple.
