eBird & Birds of North America Online
In appreciation for all those who have participated in eBird, we are pleased to offer special discounted subscriptions to the acclaimed bird life history resource: Birds of North America Online. This comprehensive resource includes information on distribution, breeding, migration, habitats, and behavior for over 700 different species of birds that breed in Canada and the United States. The accounts include photos and audio selections for all species covered. For those who would like to sign-up for a full subscription or to renew a current subscription, BNA Online is now available at the discounted rate of $25 for a 1 year subscription, $50 for a 2 year subscription and $75 for a three year subscription.

Steps to Purchase a New Subscription
All BNA Online subscriptions are purchased through the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s E Store. So should you decide to purchase a subscription, please:
- Go to: http://store.birds.cornell.edu/Birds_of_North_America_s/35.htm.
- Select the desired subscription term by clicking “Add to Cart.”
- You will then be taken to the “Your Cart” page. To take advantage of this special offer for discounted long term subscription rates, simply put the code eBird in the Promotion Code field at the left of the page. If you want to subscribe for 30 days, simply leave the Promotion Code field blank. Click “Proceed to Checkout.”
- Finish purchasing process.
- Two emails will be sent to you: one will be a receipt and the other email will include a Subscription Code and a link to a BNA Online Account Set up Page.
- When ready to Activate the subscription, click on the url link in the email and establish a User Name & Password.
- Insert the Subscription Code in the appropriate field page.
For renewals, the process is slightly different:
To renew your BNA Online subscription at the discounted eBirder rates:
- Go to: http://store.birds.cornell.edu/category_s/38.htm.
- Select the desired subscription term by clicking “Add to Cart.”
- You will then be taken to the “Your Cart” page. To take advantage of the discounted subscription rates for eBirders, simply put the following code in the Promotion Code field at the bottom left of the page: eBird. Click “Apply”. Click “Proceed to Checkout.”
- Finish purchasing process.
- 2 emails will then be sent to you; one email is your receipt and the other email will include a Subscription Code and a url link to a BNA Online account page.
- When ready to Activate the renewal, click on the link in the email and sign into BNA Online using your existing BNA Online User Name and Password.
- Insert the Subscription Code in the appropriate field page.
