  • 2021 eBird Taxonomy Update

    TAXONOMY UPDATE IN PROGRESS eBird data are currently being updated as a part of eBird’s 2021 Taxonomy Update. It is normal to see life list numbers change this week and to see some names displaying inconsistently as the changes are applied.

  • ¡Ahora en ebird, en la aplicación de ebird y en Merlin, puedes usar nombres en español de Perú!

    En los últimos años, una de las limitantes de las que se quejaban algunos observadores de aves, fue no poder ubicar las aves según un nombre en castellano. Para aquellos que sabían o preferían los nombres científicos, no había problema.

  • The Peru packages for Merlin will be launched this Saturday the 27th, after 10 years of launching the Spanish version of the book: "Aves de Perú"

    Ten years ago, in an event in Lima, Corbidi launched the Spanish version of  the fieldguide Aves de Perú. All extant authors came to Peru for that day long event with presentations, workshops, expositions  and a central presentation, which was attended by over 800 people.
