day started out rainy, then overcast, then sunny and windy. awesome birdiness. radar was good last night, then the rain set in after dawn. many new birds today.

not common at the CF - lakeside phrags btwn the butterfly garden and the scout platform. noisy buggar.

huge increase from yesterday; definitely an influx overnight

a notable difference from yesterday - many moved in overnight. probably more than 15.

not singing; sheltered from the wind in the shrubs. yellow with black "ski mask". seen from about 15 feet away, disappeared into the brush. re-located about half an hour later by 2 other birders

conservative count. the bulk of the birds were seen near warden's watch and along the dead end path, with other birds scattered throughout the preserve.
