Indoor Cats are for the Birds!

Poe the indoor cat, doing his part to help his best bird friends. Photo by Kathryn Frieden.

It is not always easy to keep a cat indoors but learn why it’s important and get some encouragement from Poe, the indoor cat. He lives with his best cat-friend Raven and his photographer-publicists, Roger and Kathryn Frieden. Check out his adventures and learn how to help your cat live longer, and also save the lives of birds in the Winter 2021-22 issue of New Hampshire Bird Records. Poe is also willing to give a pawtograph to anyone who keeps their cat indoors!

Other articles in this issue include: Stellar’s Sea-Eagle – The Rarity of the Century?; Synchronized Carolina Wrens; County Birding Challenges Bring out Old Competitive Spirit; and find out what to watch for in winter. There are lots of other great articles (see the full contents below). Enjoy them all!
