Nantucket Sunday morning birders - 20 observers in 5 cars. Mostly cloudy, 50 degrees wind light - east. First to UMASS Field Station, then location on Old Quidnet Milk Route, and finally a stop at Squam Road and Wauwinet Road.

    Details: Note - the bird I listed as Black-throated Green Warbler may actually have been a Townsend's. Serious discussion during observation at corner of Squam Road and Wauwinet Road. Bird had dark cheek patch and a good deal of yellow below the black throat. A good picture was taken and I hope to have it soon to pass on! Bear with me! This would be a first record for Nantucket and is unprecedented in the spring. Okay - here it is!
