Point at Bridled Tern location. Point at start. First day of BBC Pelagic trip. We motored out past Nantucket and over Nantucket Shoals and continued on to Dogbody Canyon. We then ran east along the shelf edge to a nice drop off at Dogbody Canyon, where did a a prolonged chumming stand and got White-faced and Band-rumped Storm-Petrels. Later, we ran further east along the shelf, picked up another White-faced, and then did some more chumming in rather deep water off the southeast corner of Welker Canyon, getting more and better looks at Band-rumped. We ran further east at dusk, picked up a Bridled Tern in the half-light, and anchored just west of Oceanographer Canyon overnight. Seas moderate with 10-15 mph NE wind.

Hide this Checklist?
Hiding a checklist will exclude the taxa on it from all forms of eBird output that show a location (including bar charts, maps, and arrival/departure tables), but the observation will still be accessible to you, and will appear on your lists.
It will be considered not public in the eBird database since we cannot approve bird records without accurate location information.
Although we understand that some checklists need to be excluded from eBird's public output due to privacy concerns or other issues, we strongly recommend against this unless absolutely necessary.
