Checklist Comments

The owners of the bison ranch are removing many of the Himalayan blackberry clumps. Most of the habitat where the thrashers have bred has been removed but we still managed to see one bird in a live oak next to the road. Today the smoke was thick so we hurried along to get our survey done as quickly as possible. Problem was that the birding was good and we wanted to see everything.
