I read that all MassAudubon Sanctuaries would be shutting down at noon today, in further efforts to slow down the spread of the Coronavirus. So, with that in mind, I raced over to the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary to get some birding in, because no one knows when they'll be open again. :-(

Details: One landed on a branch directly above me. I was standing so still at the time, I'm not so sure he noticed me there. At least, not until I started taking pictures of him.

  7. Number observed: 1

Details: Very likely the same bird found by Andy Sanford and Ellen Keane on March 22nd. I heard the bird just one time mew. And I could not for the life of me find it. I was going to leave it off my report, because I didn't want anyone to think I was a "Me Too" birder. And then I saw her. I was so excited, I didn't get the focus right on my camera before I snapped the picture. So, the focal point is just beyond the bird. But, thankfully it's good enough for ID. Because, after that it flew further back into the woods. See photo.
