    Details: a single bird flew in from the river low over the trees, caught a thermal and started to vocalize as it rose up and up and headed back towards river. All black except for a wide white band near base of tail. Soaring black hawk looks more like a saucer than the T -shape of other raptors. These birds have been in this location since 2009.
