Birding with John Deacon who escorted me around the golf course and in pursuit of the Eastern Phoebe he found on Friday, February 7, 2020. Weather cool and sunny after early morning fog burned off. No wind

    Details: After several minutes searching the area where John Deacon first found it on 2/7/20, and with the help of playback, the phoebe made an appearance outside the golf course along Industrial Parkway. It eventually flew into the country club property. It was vocalizing a few times when first spotted. Dark olive-brown backed flycatcher, pale below with a faint yellowish wash on the lower abdomen. Face was dark brownish with a contrasting whitish throat. Tail dipping behavior was observed

    Details: Continuing male observed ground-feeding from low hanging cypress trees limbs and an exposed perch from the top of a tree stake. The flycatcher continues around the pond along the east edge of the golf course
