    Details: Heard calling from town centre direction

    Details: A lot of interaction and displaying - one flew at Eastern Curlew several times. Curlew moved away

    Details: Bird larger than nearby Red-capped Plover, but half size of Bar-tailed Godwits. Very light coloured overall, especially white underparts, black straight bill of medium length, dark legs, dark primary feathers. Feeding just inside inlet on sandy bank with godwits.
