Started on south side on Wavecrest behind the ball fields, later drove over to Seymour Ave on north side. Gloomy, low fog, ceiling 100-200 ft.

Observations

  1. Number observed: X

    Details: heard

  2. Number observed: 1
  3. Number observed: 2
  4. Number observed: 6

Details: includes at least one juvenile eating a mouse

  5. Number observed: 3
  6. Number observed: 8

Details: An array of plumages, adults and immatures. One bird, presumed Red-tailed, was very pale with a checkered white and dark appearance, white head and breast, dark line through eye and white supercilium. Always flew low, so could not see underwings. Appeared comfortable when near Red-taileds. Did not have any apparent dark belly, so doubt Rough-legged. Clearly not Ferruginous.

  7. Number observed: 1

Details: Previously reported immature bird. Seen from Seymour Ave in the NW portion of the field(s). Not visible from the south. White underparts brownish above, somewhat pale gray face, yellow cere barely visible. In flight showed the white wing panels/patches.

  8. Number observed: 1

Details: From behind the ball fields. Gloomy conditions would explain it being out.

  9. Number observed: 1
  10. Number observed: 1
  11. Number observed: 20
