Observations

  1. Number observed: 6

Details: 1x1 count of a small flock directly overhead. All looked dark and lanky like Chimneys rather than Vaux's.

  2. Number observed: 1
  3. Number observed: 3
  4. Number observed: 1
  5. Number observed: 1
  6. Number observed: 1

Details: Poor photos. On east end of East Chimes Street, moving between a tall pine tree, a large live oak and some small crepe myrtles that are opposite a new gravel parking lot. Bird was silent. An obvious Myiarchus flycatcher with rufous in wing restricted to primaries, fairly small size (for a Myiarchus), pale gray throat and chest, pale yellow belly, extensive rufous in tail. Tail tip not seen well from below. No broad white tertial edgings as in Great Crested. Brown Crested would have a larger bill, among other differences.
