Details: We had a clear view of the Chimney Swifts as they flew directly above us. Brown body, tube shaped with long curved wings.

  4. Number observed: 1

Details: A solo American Avocet was resting/standing in Lake Montrose (the large, flooded beach area) and then a huge flock of Canada Geese flew in, immediately next to the avocet. The bird seemed to be disturbed by the geese, as well as the multiple photographers that continued to move closer to the bird as they stood and walked in the water towards it. The bird then flew to the beach where once again photographers encroached upon it until the bird was flushed.
