Details: These were WEGRs seen earlier from other vantage points, but I wanted to note that as I was scanning them again one pair was doing the synchronized bowing to each other and then sprinted off in their water dance. Surprising to see in late October. This is why I go out each day.

Details: Seen well in scope near buoy marker between Eagle Pt and C-ramp. Although closer to C-ramp, the light would have been impossible from there. One bird clearly male with extensive white on head and breast with very long tail. The other bird had less white on head and shorter tail and in the field we thought possibly juv male, but the photos (inadequate as they are) to my eye suggests possibly a female, because of brownish breast and white flanks and sides with all dark back. I have added some poor photos (slightly cropped) that give hints to the color patterns, but because they are hand-held they are much less clear than some of looks we had thru scope.
