8-12C, winds dropping from 15mph to 5mph, following steady NW winds from last night. Started out for morning flight at Jackson Point, birding hard Tennessee Ave, the midlands, ACK landfill, Little Neck, Blue Heron Way, Fisher's Landing, N Head of Hummock Pond, Dionis, etc. Noticeably lacking waterfowl as I did not go to any of the main ponds except for N head of Long. Oddly absent was Tree Swallow...
