SeaWatch count. Misty fog to start, slowly clearing. Visibility went from .25 miles to 3 to 5 and finally to 8 over the 5 hour span. A cloud or fog bank lingered offshore and presumably held birds closer to observer for the first few hours. Northern Gannets were plentiful and riding unusually close to the shore.
