Comments: Just wow. Found that it moved again to the lower pond. Took a couple of times searching, but found it. Must have been hiding behind the tall reeds on my first pass by the lower pond. Large-ish hammering sandpiper with a long, pink-to-black upturned bill. Pale grayish-brown plumage, mottled on top. Had to come out and see it. New to birding, but this is a real lifer for the urban location. Hope this bird isn't too off-course, and makes it to South America.
