By myself. I was checking the area of Montrose Point for migrants, primarily warblers (Bay-breasted in particular). I checked various locations around the point ranging from the "Magic Hedge" to the dunes to the beach as well as patches of trees north and south of the bird sanctuary. Weather: Sunny and warm (though cool starting off) with mostly clear skies, a few clouds, and light to moderate winds. ~60-75 F

    Details: Very aggressive juvenile hanging out and hunting around the tower at the base of the pier during my entire visit; saw it catch a Northern Flicker and take a couple shots at a cormorant or two.

    Details: Flyover; two smaller falcons chasing each other that I briefly saw before they headed out over the lake; probably American Kestrels but couldn't eliminate Merlins.

    Details: Maybe a Sedge Wren flushed a couple times along the trail in the dunes.

    Details: Drab female found and watched for several minutes while she foraging in some trees along the road south of the bird sanctuary; seen next to a female Blackpoll for ~30 seconds as well for a nice comparison. Life bird.

    Details: One adult male found in the scattered pines in the lawn south of the main sanctuary entrance and a drab female type bird found in a mixed species flock between the sanctuary and the beach.
