Birded all boneyards twice, Old Town/boatyard once, and the mountain side to the big rock slide. Did not seawatch.

    Comments: We found it in the circular boneyard in the late morning and it remained through the day. Like two other fall Gambell records, this bird showed much retained juvenile plumage. Small bunting with longish tail. Crisply streaked below with streaks continuing onto the flanks. Flight photos show gray lesser wing coverts. Straight culmen, and bi-colored bill. 6th fall record at Gambell.
