Details: First detected by distinctive high-pitched metallic chip and subsequently trapped and banded. Differentiated from the frequently banded (and locally breeding) Northern Waterthrush by a combination of pale buff undertail coverts lacking distinct dark bases, legs bright pink (not brownish pink), bold white supercilium that broadens behind eye and nearly meets at nape, unmarked throat, and blurry underparts streaking.
