Details: "Early." These may be birds that dispersed post-breeding from Duval/Nassau Counties, but I would like to think there are still a few breeding in St. Johns. I heard the first one calling in the marsh across Capo Creek just as I reached the first landing of Capo Tower. The tide was very high - as high as I've ever seen it here - so it may have pushed the birds closer, making them more noticeable. At one point, I saw four sparrow-sized birds in the marsh, and I'm guessing they were all Seasides, but I only got a decent look at two of them. Brownish above, grayish below with white throat. I could not make out yellow supraloral area. Poor photo of one.
