    Details: *high count; flocks in Cells 2C and 6; seemed to be moving from 2C to 6 in small groups throughout the day so I recounted in the afternoon and got 64 in Cell 2C and 98 in Cell 6

    Details: **expected in coastal Worcester County but otherwise very rare inland in MD; observed foraging in the sandy NE corner of Cell 1D with other shorebirds; complete breast-band and combination of leg bands suggests this is a Great Lakes bird

    Edit 08/02/2019: This bird is "Little Cooper." He (a male) was collected as an egg in Michigan in 2012 and hatched/reared in captivity. He was re-released in MI and re-sighted in FL in Jan 2018, then nested in Ontario in summer 2018 and produced four chicks. https://www.greatlakespipingplover.org/plover-stories
