    Details: Pair seen together on one side of road while another single on the other side of the road at 48.5486, -104.1873. Medium grebes with chunky build, reddish necks and yellow bills. Photos TBA.

    Details: Typical hybrid swimming together with one WEGR and one CLGR (its parents??). Phenotypically slightly more WEGR-like, with dark touching eyes, but brighter orange bill than nearby WEGR and pale lores almost like a CLGR in basic plumage.
