Clear, wind calm, about 50ºF. Highest species count of the year. Birds were very active, moving back and forth around the grounds, so most counts of individuals are conservative. One new species for the park: Common Yellowthroat.

    Details: A pair, coming in very low from the E and disappearing into the trees to the W, probably coming in for a landing upstream. Perhaps the same pair that passed over and landed in the park a few days ago.

    Details: A small yellowish bird landed briefly in the top of the Black Locusts in the SE corner and then flew off; probably something interesting, but not seen clearly.
