65F, clear, light south wind. Birded from the Island Packers boat on arrival, then hiked up the ridge to the east of the anchorage, back to the beach, then up the willow riparian habitat in the creek canyon about a mile and return. Much of the creek had flowing water.

    Details: A large group came to bathe in the creek mouth while we were ferrying people back to the boat for the return journey.

    Details: A bird I was unable to see was vocalizing in the willow riparian habitat along the flowing creek about a mile upstream from the beach. Update: Two helpful commenters say they think this may be a Bewick's Wren.
