  3. Number observed: 1

Details: Bird was amongst the Red-cockaded Woodpeckers on a tree nearby. I noticed the bright red and managed to get a bad photo of the back of head as it ducked behind a branch. It was about the same size as the Red-cockaded if not a little bit bigger.

  4. Number observed: 3

Details: Birds were singing rather than doing their raspy 'Chickadee-dee" calls. Only one occasional typical call was heard at the exit of the trail as I was photographing the Towhees

  5. Number observed: 1
  6. Number observed: 1

Details: There were at least 3 birds singing in the dense Florida Palmetto growing between the scrub pine. They would stop as soon as I'd try and photograph so I sat under a pine tree and waited quietly. NO CALL backs were done. Bird eventually popped up for a brief time and I was able to photograph.

  7. Number observed: 1
  8. Number observed: 1
  9. Number observed: 3

Details: Single male plus a pair at entrance of roadway where it ends being paved and becomes graveled

  10. Number observed: 1

Details: Bird flew in across the road. I was able to make a brief contact with it and got a very blurry photo before it flew off.

  11. Number observed: 1
