Comments: Mid-sized blackbird with yellow eye (male). More delicate and smaller billed/tailed than Common Grackle. Deep glossy color when hit by sun. First noticed adult male under fence by horses which remained for 10+mins allowing excellent study. I later noticed another 3+ males and two females 30 meters away near feeding area. They were largely obscured by the fences, horses, grass and we're most likely more numerous. Held tail high when feeding. This way my third attempt for this species at this location in as many years so extremely nice to connect. Terribly digi-scoped pics attached.
