    Details: Juvenile with moulting tail; finely barred center retrices with broad black and white bars on otter two or three retrices (outer feathers are being replaced). Buffy breast with dark streaks down feather centers. Dark, heart shaped dots on Underhill converts. Chocolate back. Cream color on cheeks and ear coverts, contrasting with blackish brown going all around the eye (Cream colored directly below eye). The dark around the eye extends up toward the crown and down toward the chin. No dark malar. Crown is streaky dark and creamwith the most dark streaks on crown and back of head. Crown feathers nearly always slightly raised. Long bill is bright yellow and gray on the proximal half and dark at the tip. Body similar in size to Redtail, but with extremely long legs. Back is almost entirely darkand it contrasts with the head and neck. Wing coverts are topped with cream. Primaries and secondaries are brown with dark brown or black bars.
