  11. Yellow-billed/Black-billed Cuckoo

    Number observed: 1

Details: Flew across the road. I didn't see contrasting rufous in the primaries, but I'm not comfortable calling it a BBCU without a better view. I was unable to relocate it.

  25. peep sp.

    Number observed: 13

Details: Smaller than nearby Dunlins, and with some size variation. I think there was a WRSA in there but it was too far to confirm.

  41. white egret sp.

    Number observed: 60

Details: Interesting. A distant line of at least 50 egrets flew out of the Cell 3D heronry as the boat was approaching the island around sunrise. There were about 10 more that flew out when I drove up to the general area. I think these might be the CAEG that birders are seeing in farmfields on the mainland.
